Artificial Maggots with an Irresistible Scent

Shrimp scent is irresistible to fish—but since taste can always be debated, we decided to pack these artificial maggots in an airtight metal tin. That way, your ice fishing suit pocket won’t start smelling quite as “delicious” as the bait itself.

Long-lasting artificial bait

One of the biggest advantages of artificial maggots is their durability. They can be used on their own, or combined in a proven setup: 2–3 artificial maggots plus 1–2 real maggots or bloodworms. This way, the hook always holds durable artificial bait, enhanced with the natural scent of real larvae.

Each tin contains approximately 80 artificial maggots, making it a very long-lasting supply.

Handcrafted in Finland

At Norolan, we aim to offer only the best products in the field, and we place great value on craftsmanship from Finland. That’s why we chose artificial maggots made by Lauri Hintsanen from Mikkeli.

Each maggot is cast and scented by hand. Even though they are small, they carry a lot of character!

Collect and reuse used maggots

Even though these maggots are small, always make sure to collect all used ones and store them in the bag included in the package. We don’t want any unnecessary waste ending up in nature.

By collecting used maggots, you can also re-scent and reuse them. For example, garlic is a well-known and effective scent worth trying.
